Thread: Experience with FunFete or Cottage Stock

I was wondering if any one has purchased from this vendor? I had a really bad experience and they basically took my money and never refunded me (after had the post office return my package).

I had bought from them a couple of times a few years ago, and didn't have any problem with them. Then again, I wasn't returning anything. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with them, but with international stuff you're pretty screwed, in terms of getting them to pay you back. Did you go through eBay? If so, you could notify eBay about the Problem. Good luck!

They are perfectly fine with accepting your money and shipping the stuff to you. But if you try to return or even try to communicate with them about returning, they were horrible. They have a guarantee that they will accept returns and your money back, no questions asked, all you do is pay for return. To do so, you were supposed to contact them about it with this link on thier website. When I went through thier process, they never responded.

Then when the package arrived I did not accept the package and had it returned to sender. I wrote them an email about what I did, explaining that they did not respond via thier link and all of a sudden they respond!!
We agreed They would refund my money when the package returned, well that was several months ago. I tried SEVERAL times to contact them about refunding my money and again NO RESPONSE. They had thier own website at the time, funfete.com and so I did not go through ebay. I did pay through paypal and even when I tried to have this rectified through the paypal process, they did not respond. I am sure they received my package back but even if they did not, they should have kept up the communication process.

I have purchased through Indian vendors many times in the past and this was the only one I had a bad experience with. I recommend to only go through EBAY (all my positive experiences with Indian vendors was through Ebay) because of the strict feedback system and now their guarentees.

I am not the type of person to go and complaint but this I feel was a very unfair business dealing. I highly recommend to avoid dealing with this vendor, especially if you might have any doubts about your purchase (as they do not honor thier return guarantee)
