Thread: Issue with Baadrobot (Andrea Jordon)

If anyone knows or can help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it. On January 26, I sent bhuz user $13 for some stuff she posted on the Swapmeet. I followed up a couple of weeks later here, via e-mail and via Facebook. Apparently she was moving during this time. She FINALLY replied on 2/23 and said she would mail them ASAP. Well I haven't gotten them and I've also followed up three times since then. I've asked a refund twice now. I can send a request for money through PayPal, but I would have to eat the fees.

She has now unfriended me on Facebook and hasn't logged in to Bhuz since Feb 24. ,m::

This is just pathetic. I know it was only $13, but if you are a bhuzzer you need to send people their stuff! Anybody know her who can follow-up with her directly? Clearly my methods don't work. I also know there is at least one other bhuzzer waiting for her stuff.

I have had a slow send from her once, but we communicated, and it was fine. I am sorry to hear it.

Like Anala, it took a bit of time, but I did get the items I purchased from Baadrobot on several separate occasions.

When you say slow do you mean two months slow? And when you say communicate, you mean she returned your e-mails and messages?

Well, for mine, it was about 3 wks-1 month late.

My item took quite a while too - but I did receive it. My emails and messages went unanswered but then the package arrived. Hopefully all will work out.

Can't you open a PayPal claim for not receiving the item? I assume that you'd rather have the item (in time and in a cheerful, agreeable way), but getting a refund is still better than nothing at all. Hope you get this straightened out soon.

I am pretty sure I used to be her friend on facebook too, but I just checked and I'm not now.

Im waiting for my purchase from Jan also, not sure what to do about it. It is really annoying.

No, since I sent it using the personal tab...which I will no longer do for Bhuz purchases unless I happen to know the person.

I'm glad I didn't buy from her then as I was eyeing her black ab applique for one of my costumes, but it was overpriced as I only needed 1 small applique not a bunch.

I only send by personal tab by Paypal to bhuz members with Paypal balance I know and trust now or if they know someone I know as well. I rather just send the extra 2.9% + $0.30 fee added to item & shipping and use the regular "Goods" option.

Hope this does get resolved andalee and just some miscomunication.

I used the regular payment for goods. I just filed a dispute with paypal, but it has been to many days. They filed it as a complaint.This is the first time this has ever happened to me, everyone I have bought from has shipped fast. It isnt a lot of money, I really just want the purple stones.

Yes, she did. I had posted a thread to ask if anybody knew if she was ok, and she popped back up. She was most apologetic. She and I share a condition that cause extreme fatigue and some motor skill loss in the hands. I hope she is ok!

I know. I need those cobalt stones for my project!

I sent a PayPal request for money yesterday...we'll see if I get my money back... Sad...I hope she's OK!

Man, I suck at getting things measured but when I sell something, I mail it same day or next day and always pay for insurance. I know how exciting it is to receive something and I don't want someone to wait on their item.

Yeah, I generally try to make it to the post within three business days...I have had a time or two that I was delayed due to being crazy busy or having a sick child...but I too know how excited I get when a package arrives in a timely manner. I just think if you are going to sell, you need to follow through on shipping.

In regards to this particular seller, I purchased two circle skirts from her once. Shipping and communication were fine, though when I received them, they had an awful smokey smell (I still have not been successful at getting it out). She apologized and stated that it was just a venue she used to dance at. So overall I had a decent experience with her. I hope she is OK!

I also paid her for some fabric then. She did refund my money a month or so ago.

Did she tell you why she couldn't send you the material?
