Thread: Ordering from Dahlal Internationale

okay, I'll admit I've never ordered anything from an actual store (thank you all my bhuz friends). I would like to order 4 pairs of pants from them for a dance that I'm doing with my troupe mates.

I have an account already. How does ordering work? How is there customer service, should I send an email or call? (I sent an email already still waiting to hear back). and I'm not sure if the pants I want to order just coem one-size or they are made custom. Site says "fits most".

Any advice is appreciated.

I've ordered quite a bit from Dahlal within the past couple of years and never had any issues. I typically email and they respond within a day or two. If you want faster service you can call them. If you call them you may be able to get the "troupe" discount on your order...I did when I ordered 3 saidi dresses for a troupe number....hope that helps! :-)

I've also ordered from Dahlal quite a bit over the last few years, but I go the other way: I prefer to call every time. They follow up with an emailed receipt. They are so helpful; plus, I think it's refreshing nowadays to speak with an actual person :)

Call. They are really helpful and very nice on the phone. You can ask questions and if they don't know the answer, they'll go and look at the actual item to help answer. You'll know everything you need, and if you're ordering several, you can maybe score a discount.

I called and they were great! The gentleman took my order over the phone and I recieved it rather quickly!

Thanks ladies. I received a reply to my email (that I already sent before asking opinions here), so that's great, very friendly even over email. Bad news they only have 3 in stock, and will check on Tuesday if they can re-order and if they'll get to me in time.

So that brings up another 2 questions:

1) How long does it usually take on average to receive in-stock items?

2) How long on average does it take to receive items that they need to re-order?

I ordered an in-stock costume recently, and I received it in less than a week (normal shipping). I'll definitely order from them again. :)

never had a problem (ordered a cane and JUST placed an order for a costume)
the lady who took my order put down the wrong size, which i didn't realize until later that day. when i called back they were very helpful and nice and it's all fixed. the costumer even spent time on the phone measuring the cups she had with me on the other end of the phone measuring my boobs since there was no way i could try anything on and i wanted to be certain i was getting the right size (im still nervous, of course ^_~) they were very patient and helpful ^_^
