I have pm'd and put a request in. You have not responded or mailed it back. You have received a refund and now you have what is rightfully and legally mine. Please return the item.

Re: JUJUBE
Simply and briefly put, as I don't want any drama.
Item was sold to me, paid for, and received in very poor condition--not as advertised. Seller refused to accept a return or to discuss the situation. I filed a dispute with the credit card company, which found in my favor. End of story. The item was trash and was disposed of appropriately. I won't respond again regarding this matter, which does not belong in a public forum.Last edited by Jujube; 03-31-2010 at 06:33 AM. Reason: Grammar and punctuation.

If you got the money back with the CC, the appropriate thing would be to return it to the original owner. Just my penny's worth. If it's in such bad condition - why keep it?

Re: JUJUBE
Just as a character reference...I've purchased from KashaG in the past and been VERY happy with the product...and I am picky biyatch who complains about costume issues.
03-31-2010 04:47 PM #7Re: JUJUBE
She changed her words....she said "disposed of appropriately" - that wasn't there before - not that I remember.
I could have sworn I have bought something from KashaG in the past, too. No problems.
And who throws away belly dance stuff?? Even if it's in poor condition?? SHUDDER!!! That's like blasphemy. You don't trash that stuff....you see if you can salvage it or offer it up to anyone who wants it for cost of shipping but regardless - it should have been returned as a respect issue.
I wonder if the item was documented via photographs to prove the poor condition.Last edited by lenaregina; 03-31-2010 at 04:58 PM.

Re: JUJUBE
Thanks guys for the support. Jujube, I have pm'd u privately and this has been going on for 2months. You have not responded. I never posted you or bad mouthed you, this was not an issue of character, I was professional with you as always, and you took advantage. I am not bashing your character but you PRACTICE AND ACTIONS. So know it is on the forum, this is completely wrong, and I do not do people this way. I am not a store. You did not say anything about returning the item, you only wanted money back. I asked you to post or send me pictures of the damage, because the item is still here with detailed descriptions and pictures, and you wouldn't do it. I even told you to sell it because someone else wanted it. I could see if you received in the mail and the whole package got wet or something, but I sealed it in a bag and mailed in a package to prevent damage. Bottom line is paypal found in MY FAVOR, and you went to your card company which I cannot dispute. The only two legal reasons for chargebacks are : never received the item, or damaged or description not stated. The post on here under "burnt orange" in search box, you contacted me, on the post the belt measurements on there, you came up with every excuse and then stated after that one of the reasons for you was that you don't have much money to spend on costumes. You scammed me, because of the "chargeback". You couldn't claim that you never received the item because I paid for it and had it on record so you said it was damaged. IF IT IS THAT BAD WHY KEEP IT JUST RETURN IT. I believe you have it and have worn it and probably sold it to someone else. YOU BASICALLY STOLE IT AND THAT I HAVE FILED. I HOPE NOONE BUYS FROM YOU AND IF ANYONE SEES THIS ITEM ON HERE NOT POSTED BY ME, IT IS FRAUD. A COSTUME THAT WAS NEVER EVEN WORN, AND I HAVE PROOF FROM DANCERS HERE THAT HAVE SEEN IT AND WROTE STATEMENTS SAYING THAT IT WAS NEVER DAMAGED OR HAD ANYTHING MISSING WHEN I WAS TRYING TO SELL IT, HERE IT IS:

Andalee,I am sorry to see what happen to you. You know you think that this won't happen to you and then it does. I am hurt and offended. I cannot dance right now, so to have someone take something that you care about so much and treated as nothing makes it worse. I wouldn't sell my things if I didn't have to.

Re: JUJUBE
You should let us know her paypal name so we can take note of it. She could make a new user name on here and buy from someone else and do the same thing. If we know her paypal name then we will know its her.

Ladies, we have been cheated out of a proper flounce! Jujube's profile has been closed but she didn't even pause to call us bullies or haters. I am so disappointed.
Kasha, I am so sorry this happened to you. It's sickening. But karma will get her, worry not!

Re: JUJUBE
Now see, that's where people like you stuff up continually.
No, this isn't a matter for a public forum, it's a matter for the police and, if you really want to get smart azzed about it, it also comes under fraud. If you claim a refund, the item MUST be returned to where you bought it from as ownership reverts back to the person who sold it.
To add to that, evidence is already in place of suspected fraud. Paypal, whom I'm assuming YOU tried to claim a refund through first, found in Kasha's favour. So you took the other road where you didn't have to prove that the item was in "very poor condition" by going through your creditcard company.
Kasha, I suggest you contact the police.

Re: JUJUBE
Hi Kasha,
Jujube is a fraud artist. She is a talented thief. You should go to the police. You may like to post a pic on the eBay watch forum for other bhuzzers to see so they may come across your rightful property on eBay while browsing or craigslist in their local area for sale and report to you.
She ran away and hid, but who knows if she may resurface with a new bhuz name to scam the rest of us who are honest in the belly dance community?
You are an honest person as I have bought a few pieces from you. You always state the quality or how many times you've worn an item. You always ship the item when you say so.
You were taken advantage of.
I wish you luck!

I remember when you were selling that! I thought "yummy orange!!" but I didn't like coins so I passed.
How horrific for you!!! Thank God it wasn't a $500 costume!

Re: JUJUBE
I have also purchased a costume from Kasha, and she shipped promptly internationally and the costume was in good condition.
If this buyer receives enough bad publicity, it may prevent her from repeating the fraud. I feel sorry for you Kasha and wish you luck.

Re: JUJUBE
I bought a costume from KashaG in january and received prompt replies. The costume arrived within two weeks, which is normal for overseas shipping and was exectly as described.
Kasha, I'm sorry that you had a bad experience on the swapmeet. I can only hope that the good experiences in the past and the future will cancel it out.
For Jujube, I hope karma will work things out.

Re: JUJUBE
Kasha, don't know if this will be helpful but I would probably gather feedback from satisfied customers (this page, for instance), and forward copies to the credit card co, along with Paypal paperwork stating they found in your favor. Her input on this page could be beneficial. Wishing you the best of luck. Such a sad, sucky situation. Please keep us informed.

Re: JUJUBE
THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE, I have filed a claim of stolen property with the government. Seriously I don't think I am ever going to get the costume or money back. I am glad that it was not a lot of money, but it's a matter of property, and for all this I would have just kept it. I would like advice on the ebay suggestion. I am not on ebay, would like to post a warning just in case she tries to sell it on there.

Re: JUJUBE
I decided to check out the forum at orientaldancer.net tonight and noticed that there is a person there with the username Jujube. It looks like the start date for bhuz and od.net is the same for both Jujube's, which is also interesting. It may not be the same person, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Have you posted on od.net about this costume, so that people will know that it is stolen?

Kasha, I'm so sorry to hear that this happened to you! The whole thing sucks and I doubt she threw that costume away, it certainly doesn't look like junk
While I would like to think karma will bite her on the a**, Veil_Dancer's knuckle sandwich on concrete rye seems more appropriate! ..g.: I had no idea this had happened, I really need to visit this forum more often!

Re: JUJUBE
..l;, Let's just hope the dancer named carpediem on orientaldancer doesn't do anything embarrassing! When I divorced my first husband he had a cousin with the same name as mine. She was quite a party animal (understatement!) and for the first month or I had my phone I got a lot of interesting phone calls! I learned to always have a un-listed number after that and I changed my last name back to my maiden name ASAP!
