Thread: does anybody know about Nashid???

Hello,
I´m feeling bad to post this here, but I don´t know what to do anymore...

Last year in august I traded a bella with Nashid. She got mine very quick - I didn´t receive anything. I emailed and pm´d her several times and I wanted to have the tracking number. She couldn´t give me a tracking number... but she promised that she had send the costume and I was waiting, waiting, waiting.

At the end of the year I wrote her, that I want my money back - and guess: I didn´t receive anything... but she promised that she would send it.

Later she was offering another bella on bhuz and I wrote her, she could send it to me and pay only the difference. She told me, that would be great and she would send it within a week...
You can guess: I didn´t receive anything...

Is anybody here who can help? Does anyone know Nashid - maybe lives in the near of her?

I'm sorry to hear that you are having this problem. I don't know Nashid but I did have quite a few transactions with her that all were smooth. I've noticed that she hasn't been posting on Bhuz in quite some time. Hope she is okay and that you get your Bella.

I have had smooth transations with Nashid too. However, I paid through paypal. I refuse to trade with anyone because of this issue. Once you send a costume all you have is faith that they will send one in return. I was so worried when I myself sent a costume to New Zealand. It took two months for the poor girl to get! I was so worried! Even though I had insured it I did not do a tracking and thought I might have to refund her money. I now insure everything and prefer shipping in my own country. I wish you luck.

I too have swapped and sold/bought costumes with her and never had a problem. I notice she's been MIA though. I hope everything is okay and I feel terrible that your experience has been unsuccessful. I don't have any suggestion for resolution though.

I don't know Nashid, but I have not seen her on bhuz lately.

I only trade with a few dancers here after I get to know them. Mainly, if I had bought from them before and I had received the items. Sometimes, even direct phone numbers are exchanged.

I recall that she had a university email address - maybe googling that to find an office phone number could be helpful in getting a hold of her? Assuming that she honestly forgot in a period of things going crazy and wants to make this right, that may be an alternative that benefits everybody. Good luck!

Are you sure the costume didn't get stuck in customs or lost?

I get a lot of BS from the post office that they can't give me tracking numbers on international shipments unless I pay an extra $70 for "special shipping". I don't think I had a tracking number when I traded with you last year. Just a paper customs receipt...

I bought a costume from Nashid about 2 or 3 years ago and I had the same problem, Shirin! I mailed her very often and didn´t get an answer (and no costume). Than I wrote here in bhuz about my problems with her, and then she wrote back. She said something about trouble with work and family and at last I got the costume, but I wait many months and I swear not to by again from her. Sorry, but that is not fair and nobody want to have this situation.

I sold, bought and traded costumes with Nashid before - and it was always o.k. But now I´m waiting for money or costume for more than 8 months. I did send her a very nice bella and paid more than 70$ for shipping with insurance (like I always do) and I send her the tracking number - the costume arrived very quick.
But all I got was NOTHING - no costume, no tracking number and no money back.
She told me that she had some problems and I gave her some time, but I didn´t receive anything for further months.

I know it sounds hard, but I am working for my money, too. I offered her to send money in parts, but I wanted to know a plan for that. And I offered her to send me another costume instead - but I received nothing, nothing, nothing...

Of course I hope that everything is o.k. with Nashid - but 8 months are much too long for someone who is honest and fair and waiting for a trade costume.

It IS too long- you're right. I hope things are fine with her as well (didn't she have a daughter's wedding coming up or something? Am I thinking of the right person?) No matter what, you deserve to either be compensated for the costume you sent or have a comparable costume sent to you- either the original one or the other one you agreed to. I'm sorry that this has happened to you, and I hope it gets resolved. You deserve to be treated fairly.

I'm trying to remember back but I think I had a transaction that took a while from her. She did send it and things worked out all right.

Oh hope there's not some terrible problem. Barring something really stupendous though - not cool. not cool at all.

Must say - I found this costume, the second one you had an agreement about, the apple green Bella, in the older listings and contacted her to see if it had sold and that's what bumped back to current visibility. I was on the brink of buying it myself, decided the skirt wasn't right for me. I'd have been devastated in your position, don't get this kind of cash every day. My sympathies. I do hope she's okay?

my mauve bella that I sent to Nashid was soooo beautiful, but unfortunately a little bit too big for me. (It was a trade with Ayascha against a lovely blue pharaonics.)
Nashid received it and she wrote me that it fits her and that she is happy with it...
It really hurts - not only because of the money ... it feels like I have lost two pretty costumes for nothing. ..cr.:
Of course I wish that everything is o.k. with Nashid, but I want my money or costume and I don´t want to wait further 8 month. She could write me or could have written me - just to make sure that she didn´t forget about me.

I did a quick google search and found a YouTube video from someone with the same stage name performing at Little Big Apple Shimmy 2010, posted on 4/29. But it may be someone else!!! The event happened on 4/24, I think. Maybe you could track the event organizer or someone in Kansas-- I also found their info online. It seems strange because she logged into Bhuz on the above date, same date as the YT posting, though that could be inaccurate. She hasn't, however, posted anything in a while.

I do hope the mauve Bella Nashid offered to trade with me for my white Bella wasnt yours Shirin-I would have felt awful! I never heard back from Nashid regarding measurmens so the trade didnt go through. Sorry this has happened to you :(

Yup......that was the one offered to me. I would have felt horrible if the trade had gone through! Theres no way I could keep a costume knowing the dishonest history behind it. Im so sorry Shirin!

Have you tried writing her a letter and send it by certified mail? I assume you have her address since you sent the costume to her.

Well, I wouldn't call that very reassuring information. Soon just isn't good enough at this post. She should have immediately apologized to you and told you she's putting the costume in the mail today or sending you a refund. There's no excuse at all for leaving you waiting 8 months for a costume. At the very least she could return the costume you sent her. At least that way you could sell it to someone else.

You have GOT to be kidding me! I seriously thought that something awful must have happened to her, which would be the only possible excuse for this terrible lapse in integrity. Soon? The answer is soon? I'm speechless.
