Thread: What is the scoop on the We3 site?

I have purchased from We3 before and have gotten good feedback from them so I don't think this is personal. I tried to purchase a lace skirt from thier ebay site today and I was blocked from doing so. Anyone else had this problem? Is this thier way of "closing shop"? Just wondering.

Sellers can set up buyer blocks on eBay and it could be for several different things such as the country you're living in, number of feedback you've recieved from other buyers, and number of non-paying strikes within a certain amount of time. Since the blocks are automatic, I would send them an email reminding them that you have bought from them in the past and request that they lift the block for you.

They blocked me a long time ago- it was because i sold Turkish sets on ebay from the same maker as they buy from & they tried to say they were the only ones that could sell them...copyrights to kajal's designs! No sweat, kajal prices better & better customer service as well- WE3 we can do without you!

I also was blocked by We3 years ago. I had left a "neutral" feedback because they never shipped my item (they couldn't find it) and took a couple of weeks to let me know, though they did eventually 'fess up and refunded my money. After that I found I could no longer bid on anything of theirs. A few years later I sent an e-mail pointing out that this had been a appropriate feedback under the circumstances and asking them to stop blocking me because, for Pete's sake, I would like to buy something and did they not wish to sell their stuff??? They replied and explained they believed they had been under attack by a competing vendor who made purchases under various e-bay identities in order to sabotage their feedback rating. They had dealt with this using automatic blocking such as MarsBar describes. They did lift the block on me and I was able to purchase the item I wanted.

Thanks for the feedback, I don't get it. I have bought lots of stuff from them with no problem in the past. I have always paid and they have even said that I am a good communicator and work to resolve issues (they are bad about shipping and have had to work with them to get my stuff).
