While looking for a gold bedlah, I came across the website isisexchange.com. I have never ordered from them before. They have some pretty cheap prices, but I'm worried that the costume/bedlah will also be cheap. Help, please!

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
I ordered this costume recently
http://www.isisexchange.com/Copper_B...elt_p/1707.htm
received it in about 8 weeks, everything was made to the measurements I sent them, so far I have encountered very minimal bead/fringe loss. It's the most comfortable costume I own! I was pleased with my experience with Isis Exchange and would order from them again.

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
I've bought that same set and even though (because of the cup shape) I really needed a bigger cup size I was very happy with it.

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
One of my troupemates bought a bra and belt set from them - one of the ones with beading and ruched fabric on it, it looks fantastic. I think she's quite happy with it.

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
I've been quite happy with the two costumes that I bought from them in 2006, but I have heard mixed reviews. Here's another thread on the topic, though bear in mind that it's a couple of years old.

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
I wasn't too impressed...or maybe I was just unlucky. I ordered a bra/belt set from them a couple of years ago and it came in the wrong size, took a lot longer than expected to arrive, and there was a lot of loose fringe and broken beads...

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
I just got a costume from them and the skirt is like 5 sizes too large and the bra is about 3 times too big--this is no exaggeration. The color and style are right surprisingly. I'm going to take pictures of it on me and send it to them and ask for my money back including all shipping. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
I have a few years back, and I always have problems with the cup size being way too small. The belt is usually about where I need it though.

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
Update on this situation: They were not communicative when I kept emailing asking if they got the costume when i sent it back but then about 6 weeks later they sent me another one and amazingly it fits me beautifully!! It was worth the wait. It turned out so well I'll probably place another order and my group is thinking of getting our next troupe costume from them. I hope everyone else has a good experience in the end as I have.

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
I just got my costume yesterday and it was right at 8 weeks maybe slightly less. Everything is perfect. It's the same design as pictured and pretty true to measurement. I'm going to have to move the hooks on the belt but that's to be expected. The bra cups are small which is fabulous for us ladies that are less endowed. I may have to pad a little but so far this is the best fitting bra I have.
I even emailed half way through the process with a couple of measurement changes and while they responded back that they couldn't make any promises so late in the game, everything turned out well.

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
In 2007 a Troupe I danced with all ordered costumes from them.
The larger sized ladies had issues with the bras being small, but they were wearable (just cleavagey). Same with mine, I'm a 34D, ordered my size and it felt more like a C instead. Like the other gals, it was wearable, but I replaced it with another bedlah a few months later.
We did get everything in time for a large showcase which was about 9 weeks - and that is pretty good for almost 14 girls of varying measurements!

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
Well, unfortunately I have not been so fortunate in my experience.

I placed my order for a bra/belt set back in March of this year. I received a bra and belt about 10 weeks after the order was placed, only to discover I had received the wrong bra. I emailed them right away to let them know it was wrong, and within the next couple of weeks sent the wrong bra back (per their instructions). I included with the incorrect bra pictures of the bra that I originally ordered, and a copy of the original purchase order.
It is now September, and after several emails telling me that my bra has arrived back in the US and will be shipped, I STILL have not received it.
I'm writing them another email today, and am really hoping that they can rectify the situation. At this point, I'm irratated enough to just send the belt back and be done with them. SO disappointing...

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
Just an update on my situation:
I spoke with Billy in their customer service, and they have offered to give me a substantial discount either on this current order, or on any future order. I told him that I would be willing to work with them again, but that this is their last chance. They are supposed to be sending the replacement bra (which - by-the-way, is still not correct because they apparently change dress-makers, and the new one is unable to do it - not sure what that's all about, but whatever...) via priority mail, and I should have it by Wednesday. I better get it, or I'm going to raise holy hell. I need to have it soon enough to do strap alterations for a performance in early October. Here's hoping that it will all turn out okay!

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
Well ladies, my opinion of Isis Exchange is not a very good one. Three of us ordered identical costumes in January 2011, with the delivery to each of us separately due mid march. We oredered in plenty of time for a planned concert in May. We never actually got to dance in them, The two ther girls recieved theirs, and while they had several minor size issues (that were fixable here) , they were essentially exactly what we had ordered. Mine did not arrive at all, and after many requests for an international tracking number so I could try to find it they eventually said they did not have any records. They tried to blame Australia post, however I believe that was a bit rich considering they could not establish the costume had ever been sent. Eventually they agreed to replace the costume, and what I recieved was absolutely appauling and is totally unusable. It had been shipped directly from Egypt. It looked like it had been made by a child. I was grubby; had pen marks all over; totally wrong sizing; and wrong colour. That costume i recieved in July 2011, 6 months after paying good money to them. I would never reccomend them to anyone. There is enough competition out there to shop elsewhere.. well thats my 2 cents

Re: Has anyone ordered from Isis Exchange?
Well, I think I must be the only one with a good experience from them. I ordered one of their clearance costumes (velvet orange, lots of beading, mesh panel cut out of one of the side legs) and I have to say, it is really excellent quality. I've heard tons of bad reviews about their bras and belts, but I took a chance with this one. I received it within 3 days and it only ended up costing me $125. I'll be kinda scared to order from them again, but just wanted to put this out there.
