Thread: Need help from dancers who buy custom Bellas re: how to pay

I just got an email from Bella letting me know my first custom Bella is ready to ship (yay!!!) and I was hoping some of you Bella devotees could tell me about how you have traditionally paid for a custom Bella. She sent me all the info for the Istanbul bank so I know I can do a transfer from my bank but it's going to cost $40-65. Is there another way anyone knows of or is this just an added expensive you have to put up with if you want a custom Bella? I would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

i pay western union cuz my bank wont let me transfer money that way lol. its cheapest if you do it in person w a W.E but ive also done it online but its still like $30ish online

Well, that didn't work. i tried and when I got on the chat helpline they said they don't do tranfers to Turkey. When did you send via West. Union last? Was it to Istanbul?

yep i emailed bella for their western union info (its a little diff) and did it thru person at a W.E "provider". the last time i did it was sept ish

edit...i just went to their site and they are still letting me send to turkey

...they have another banking acount in belgium. You could ask bella for that.

Thanks Shirin and Callista. I ended up sending through my bank b/c W.U. wanted $78. It ended up costing me $55. No wonder everyone jumps on Bellas on the swapmeet! I wonder why she doesn't take credit cards now? I think my husband paid with a credit card when we were at her Istanbul shop and bought 2 costumes a couple of years ago. Anyways, thanks again ladies : )
