    Delya,"binty-fresh" dancer from France

I´ve seen her dance live to lebanese&syrian music...she has her own, very "light and girlish" style with great audience contact.

Here´s a clip where she´s throwing in some dabke steps in "Delya-style":):

There´s very few clips with her,but I really like her.

I really like her too! I love that choreography. It's a neat mix of Egyptian and Lebanese styling and the added Debkeh is refreshing to see. It's not often Lebanese folklore is referenced in Raqs Sharki. I really like it. I subscribed to her youtube account.

This is a lovely clip. Liking the dabke references, and love her costume. It inspired me to search 'dabke' on youtube, and I found this: mini-dabke! So cute

    And even funnier...monkey dabkeh! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAV3...eature=related

    Dear Ahava
I am Delya, the dancer on the videos :)
Thank you for your interest ,rolls-eyes .
You can classify my style as Raqs el Sharky, with, sometimes, some Dabke steps, but in a feminine way. Actually I am a Raks Sharky dancer (with egyptian technic of course), but as I study, dance, and teach Dabkeh too (I often go to Lebanon), I love to mix them in my dance, in a girly way.
    My best regards :)

I usually catalougue dancers by their names instead-I mean...if I should put Mercedes Nieto or Candi Bell lists...they are Mercedes&Candi...does it makes any sense?(sorry, english is not my first language! )

okay thanx. I actually have HUNDREDS of youtube videos downloaded for inspiration to watch w/o waiting to load so I have to catagorize to more than just by dancer especially cuz some dancers, I only have like one dance of them.

so I'll probably put it under egyptian style thanx sooooo much.

    Hi Delya!

You are fantastic! You should produce a video of Debke with a feminine twist! Your dancing is beautiful!!!

    Re: Delya,"binty-fresh" dancer from France

Here is a little mix of my last "Traditionnal Dabke Workshop"... Enjoy ;)

    "Dabke Workshop" with Delya...
    - Discovery of "Debka Chaabiya", the popular dabke dance from Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq...
    - Choregraphy with soft feminin parts, and strong masculin energy.

A beautiful travel throught Middle East!
